NOW HIRING !
Position: Keyholder (Nights & Weekends)
Location: Community Thrift on Penn
Type: Full-Time
What You’ll Do
Open and close the store with confidence — yes, that means keys, codes, and responsibility.
Act as the manager-on-duty during evening and weekend shifts.
Lead the floor: keep the team focused, customers helped, and lines moving.
Handle cash pulls, safe drops, and end-of-day procedures accurately (no creative accounting).
Step in where needed — register, recovery, go-backs, light stocking, tagging.
Resolve customer issues calmly and professionally (you’re the adult in the room).
Ensure store standards are met: clean, organized, and ready for the next day.
Follow and enforce store policies — consistency matters.
What You Bring
Proven reliability — keys don’t go to maybes.
Strong customer-service instincts and the ability to lead by example.
Comfort handling cash, registers, and basic reports.
A sense of urgency and ownership — you don’t wait to be told.
Clear communication and level-headed problem solving.
Flexibility for evenings and weekends (this role lives there).
Why It Matters
Key Holders keep Super Thrift running smoothly when leadership isn’t on site.
You’re trusted with the store, the team, and the close — and that trust is earned.
If things go right, it’s because you handled it. If they go sideways, you know how to fix it.
